DESCRIPTION

Do you want to explore the world of ski mountaineering and learn how to experience the winter mountains in an authentic and responsible way?

This basic course is dedicated to anyone wishing to approach the discipline gradually, tackling classic ski touring routes in snowy terrain (without glaciers or alpinistic sections).

During the theory sessions, you will learn about equipment, how to plan an outing, and how to interpret the avalanche bulletin; during the on-snow days, you will practice uphill progression with climbing skins, group management, and skiing on ungroomed snow.

Guided by qualified professionals, you will acquire the essential skills to move independently and safely, building both technical foundations and the awareness needed to fully enjoy ski mountaineering.
