Day Format

Welcome & Initial Briefing


  • Check of personal equipment

  • Introduction to basic technique, safety, and ARTVA use

 Guided Ski Touring Ascent


  • Route chosen based on group level

  • Focus on uphill technique, pace management and safety

Lunch Break


  • Option for hut lunch or packed lunc 

Return and Off-Piste Descent


  • Work on natural-snow downhill technique

  • Basic risk-management principles for off-piste skiing 

Final Debriefing

  • Sharing experiences

  • Suggestions for continuing with higher-level courses

Piemontese di nascita ma veronese d’adozione, ho scoperto l’amore per la montagna fin da bambino. Una passione che, anno dopo anno, è cresciuta al punto da guidare ogni mia scelta. Dopo 14 anni di servizio nell’esercito, ho deciso di seguire fino in fondo ciò che sentivo davvero mio: intraprendere il percorso per diventare Guida Alpina. Oggi considero questo non solo un lavoro, ma il mestiere più bello del mondo, perché mi permette di vivere e condividere la montagna in tutte le sue forme.

Participant Requirements

  •  Ability to ski independently on red slopes

  • Good general fitness (average elevation gain: 500–800 m)

  • Willingness to learn and curiosity about the winter alpine environment

  • No previous ski touring experience required

What to Bringù

  • Ski touring skis with bindings and climbing skins

  • Ski touring boots

  • Telescopic poles

  • Hiking backpack (30–35 L)

  • Layered winter technical clothing (thermal base layer, fleece, waterproof shell)

  • Warm gloves, hat, sunglasses / goggles

  • Sunscreen, thermos with a hot drink, snacks or packed lunch


On request, we can assist you with renting full equipment through partner stores.
