DESCRIPTION
An exciting journey into the heart of Trentino
Located near Cadino, between San Michele all’Adige and Salorno, the Via Ferrata Rio Secco offers a unique experience through a wild gorge. The route starts with a 15–20 minute step approach on a forest trail, leading to the start of the ferrata.

Safety & Equipment
The ferrata is well-equipped with steel cables, rungs, and solid anchors. A harness, helmet, gloves and via ferrata set are recommended. After recent rain, some sections may be slippery—caution and glovesare advised.
Return
The descent trail is steep and includes sections with cables and a metal ladder. It is recommended tokeep your harness on until the very end of the descent.
