DESCRIPTION
The Via Ferrata delle Laste with the ascent to Cima Rocca is one of the most remarkable experiences in Garda Trentino. Starting from the village of Biacesa in the Ledro Valley, the route develops as a circular hike of about 4 hours, with an altitude gain of 640–670 m.
The path climbs through woodland and rocky passages equipped with cables and ladders, before reaching a system of tunnels and trenches carved into the mountain during the First World War. Equipped with a headlamp, you will explore the dark passages and step back in time, reliving the atmosphere of the Austro-Hungarian defence lines.
The ferrata ends at Cima Rocca (1,090 m), a spectacular panoramic point offering views stretching from Lake Garda to Monte Baldo and the peaks of the Ledro Valley. This is an experience for those seeking a combination of sport, history and natural beauty, suitable even for beginners in good physical condition.
