JORDAN – TREKKING ADVENTURE
An intense journey through history and breathtaking landscapes: from ancient Amman to the Roman ruins of Jerash, from the silence of the Dead Sea to the pink canyons of Petra. Then into the desert of Wadi Rum, among sand and granite, ending by the sea in Aqaba. An itinerary that blends archaeology, nature, and authentic Bedouin culture.
Duration
12 day
DESCRIPTION
A journey through Jordan is a deep immersion into a land that blends ancient history, dramatic landscapes and genuine hospitality. Over 12 days, you will explore the country’s most iconic sites: from the Nabataean city of Petra to the ethereal calm of the Dead Sea, to the timeless silence of the red desert of Wadi Rum.
The tour begins in Amman, the lively and layered capital where ancient ruins meet modern life. From there, we move on to the magnificent Roman ruins of Jerash, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the Middle East, before continuing to the Dead Sea for a once-in-a-lifetime floating experience in its hypersaline waters.
After a panoramic stop at Mount Nebo, the legendary point from which Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land, we reach the stunning Petra, the city carved into rose-red rock, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. You’ll walk through the famous Siq, discover the Treasury, and explore temples, tombs, theatres and monasteries carved into the stone.
Next comes the heart of the desert: three unforgettable days in Wadi Rum, among lunar landscapes, towering canyons and natural rock bridges, experiencing authentic Bedouin hospitality in an atmosphere suspended in time. Hikes, fiery sunsets and infinite silence make these days truly unforgettable.
We end our journey in Aqaba, on the Red Sea, where history meets relaxation — the perfect way to conclude the adventure, with the chance for a final swim or snorkelling session before returning home.
