DESCRIPTION
This route takes us through the Val di Ledro, a recently recognized UNESCO Biosphere, a true treasure trove of cultural and natural biodiversity that combines Alpine and Mediterranean worlds. An immersive nature experience, enriched by historical World War I sites, all accompanied by a sense of peace in a landscape of vibrant colors.
Program:
Route: 11.5 km – Duration: 6h – Elevation gain ↑ 1010 m ↓ 1010 m
Departure and transfer: Our transfer will take us to Val di Ledro, continuing to Val Concei, where the landscape will gradually change, passing through rural villages and peaceful countryside. At the center of the valley lies the basin of Lake Ledro (655 m), a glacial lake that adds even more charm to our starting point.
From Malga Trat (1502 m): We begin our hike from Malga Trat, a place full of authenticity, where the rhythms of nature are marked by the grazing of cows and milk processing.
The path to Cima Parì (1980 m): Continuing on, we’ll climb the west side of Dosso di Seaoi (1435 m) to reach Bocca di Savall (1740 m). A ridge section will lead us to Cima Parì, where we can enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the lakes, offering an unparalleled panorama.
Descent to Cima Sclapa and Bocca Dromaé: We will then descend to Cima Sclapa (1875 m) and Bocca Dromaé (1685 m), immersing ourselves in the history of the area and its inhabitants. Along the way, we’ll visit the ruins of the Austro-Hungarian military hospital at 1700 m, near Bocca Savall.
Arrival at the Nino Pernici Refuge: The trek culminates at the Nino Pernici Refuge (1600 m), a welcoming destination where we can enjoy a warm meal and relax in great company. From there, a short return to Malga Trat concludes this day of emotions, panoramas, and history.
